How To Tell If He or She is Cheating
by Guest Author Glen Houston
There are a few unorthodox ways to see if your spouse or partner is cheating. One way is to see how s/he responds to online baits. This will reveal a bit about your relationship and his/her character.
Try this:
- Create a Myspace.com or any other internet social network account that you feel he will most likely feel comfortable with, if s/he doesn't already have one. Place up a few pictures of someone very attractive. You can find stock photography on sites by doing a search on "stock photos" and look for royalty free ones. As long as you are not using this for commercial purposes, it is legal. Make sure these are not the airbrushed ones. You need realistic photos. Then write a good description of yourself as well. Now make your profile private. This is important so it doesn't look like a spammer bot.
- Then message him/her with something like "You look familiar. Did we meet before?". Invite him via email invite if he doesn’t have an account already.
- Listen to his/her response and then reply back with "Oh ok, hey you're cute by the way (or some positive quality that strokes his ego very well), are you single by the way?"
- Listen to his/her response and if it's not a firm NO, then that's a sign of character weakness.
You must not be afraid to try this out and understand that you have a right to know how s/he presents him/herself to the world behind your back. This is especially true if you feel s/he's doing things behind your back already. But be honest with yourself. If you really don't want to know, then don't do it.
Sneaky? Perhaps. However the point here is to prove that s/he is truly curious to venture outside your relationship without your knowledge. This doesn't prove cheating has occurred but will tell you signs of his/her character.
If this happens, you must take further action and stand up for yourself. If s/he does not take the bait, it's one step closer to staying assured about your relationship and that's a great thing. You don't need to continue any further to look for signs of infidelity. You can ease up and realize that your significant other is probably very true to you.
