This must be the easiest recipe to turn plain old carrots into the most amazingly delicious side dish. Instead of just using veggies from a can, the use of fresh vegetables makes all the difference in the world. And not to mention the added nutrients you get out of them!
Ingredients:
- One bundle of fresh carrots
- 1 Cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 Stick of butter
- Salt and pepper.
Directions:
- Wash the carrots and chop into bite size slices.
- Boil the carrots until desired tenderness.
- Drain the carrots and place back in the pot.
- Add the butter and let the butter melt.
- Add the cream and heat on low until the cream is warm and the butter is completely melted.
- Stir until the carrots are completely coated.
- Salt and pepper to taste and serve.
Recommendations:
As a starter, we recommend the tomato cucumber salad.
As the main dish, we recommend the Minty Lamb Chops accompanied with the Parslied New Potatoes.
